PARK SLOPE EDITION!!!!
7.45 mi; 8:38 min/mi pace; 150 ave bpm; 10,085 steps.
For my long run this weekend, I wanted to check out some new views, so I decided to do this run in Prospect Park. I cannot remember the last time that I have ran in this park (maybe the Brooklyn Half years ago). Plus, I was getting a little tired of the same Williamsburg Bridge and Central Park run.
THE RUN
I started out strong in the beginning ; maybe a little too strong for the first few miles. I did notice that my hip flexors were bothering me, especially the right ones. Perhaps, I probably should not have added lower body exercises on my lift day the previous day.
I was really disappointed that I had to walk a bit during the steady incline at mile 6 or so. I forgot that there was that incline (for about 0.25-0.4 mi) near Grand Army Plaza.
THE ROUTE
PICS FROM THE RUN.
I had more from the run, but my phone did not save them for some odd reason. I hope that I can figure out what happened before the 20th of March.
